Meet our founder, Mrs. Priya Asthana.
She has done ‘Masters in Mathematics ‘ from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. She has always been passionate about making Maths Simple & Visual. She has been mentoring maths students in Singapore since 2013.Before starting Maths2Art, she has worked with Investment banks in London, India and Singapore for nearly 6 years.
She is currently a Research Associate in the field of Artificial Intelligence at NTU, Computer Science Department, Singapore.
She observed that lot of primary & secondary level students are struggling with this beautiful subject. Students are learning ‘How’ but with no hint of ‘Why. She felt the immense need of making Maths Education more connected to our daily life. She believes that the essence of Maths is not to make simple things complicated but to make complicated things simple.
She is on a mission to make Maths Simple & Visual. She loves converting ‘Huh’ moments into ‘Aha’ moments.
